Overview

Multiwave Sensors Inc. is a privately held Canadian company that was incorporated in 1997. It provides research, prototyping, product development, design, consulting and sales of sensor based products. The company's core technology that it works with are "Pulsed Time of Flight Laser Rangefinders" and GPS-based sensors.

Multiwave is very closely associated and is a business partner with Laser Technology Inc (LTI - www.lasertech.com) of Centennial, Colorado. LTI is the leader in "Pulsed Time of Flight Laser Rangefinders" and incorporates their patented ASIC technology into a multitude of products. Multiwave works with LTI to extend this core technology into other markets and applications. Multiwave has also developed it's own product, the Azimuth Pointing System, that when used in conjuction with LTI's TruPulse or Impulse Laser Rangefinder becomes a reflectorless total station that is immune to magnetic interference and produces remote GPS positions.
