AZIMUTH POINTING SYSTEM
The Azimuth Pointing System is a GPS-based compass that provides a true north azimuth measurement and GPS position - all in one device.
It also has an integrated inclinometer, which
allows the system to provide a complete
heading solution.
The APS can aid in aligning cell tower
antennas or satellite dishes because it's not
affected by local magnetic interference.
With an LTI laser, the APS is a powerful
all-in-one total station that does not require
benchmarks or backsights to produce
remote GPS coordinates.
Mobile mapping is now possible because
the APS can be used right from your vehicle!
